Mirandyn James
Hello! My name is Mirandyn James. I am Chiricahua Apache & Tewa from Big Mountain, Az. I’m the Lead Guitarist, Backup Vocals, & occasional bassist for Icy Whisper! I have a deep passion for music as I feel it brings people together. Growing up around my cousins, Raiden and Emeric Jr, metal music was deeply embedded in us at an early age. Our father’s, Emeric James Sr. and Raphael James (Original Icy Whisper Members) brought us up on Judas Priest, Megadeth, Testament, & Sepultura. (to name a few) One of their sayings, that will always stick with me is, “Just play!!”. So, I’m glad to be playing and making music alongside my family. Ahe’hee, Kundah, Thank You!

Raiden James
Hello! My name is Raiden James. I was born and raised here in Flagstaff, AZ. I’m from the Hopi/Tewa tribe as well as Navajo tribe. I’ am of spider/Blue Spruce stick & Parrot/Kachina in the Tewa/Hopi side. As for my Navajo side I’ am of Black sheep and the one who walks around. I first started playing the guitar when I was 10 or 11, but didn’t really get into it until my late teens. My father taught me most of the basic chords, My musical influences include Judas Priest and Kiss. Twin lead guitarists KK Downing and Glenn Tipton are an amazing combo! My other influences include Avenged Sevenfold and Trivium

Emeric James Jr
Hello. My name is Emeric James Jr and I am the drummer in Icy Whisper. I am Tewa, Hopi, and Navajo. I was born of the Spider/Bear clan and born for the Parrot/Kachina clan on my Tewa/Hopi side. On my Navajo side, I’m a descendant of the Black Sheep clan and “The One Who Walks Around”. I was born and raised in Flagstaff, Arizona, but am originally from First Mesa, Arizona. Essentially, I just love music. I love that it’s a way for me to express myself and do what I love. I also love that our music can be used as a medium to send our vibes and messages into the world. My only hope is that Icy Whisper continues to stay inspired and continues to make art that inspires the listener. We get our inspiration from all over the place, but mainly from the interactions and experiences we have in this thing called “life”. We can only hope that our music serves its purpose and inspires others in any shape or form. As always: Thank you and stay inspired.

Jacob Coin II
My name is Jacob Coin II, I am 22 years old, full Hopi and I am Tsu’wungwa (Snake Clan) from Munqapi, Arizona. I am the Rhythm guitarist, bassist, and occasional vocalist for Icy Whisper. Music has always been in my life in some form of way. Influences such as Megadeth, Metallica, Iron Maiden etc were constantly playing throughout my childhood and teen years. The way they would sound, the way they would make every crowd lose their mind whilst on stage. Everything these bands did made me want to experience that lifestyle. So here I am today doing just that with my brothers in Icy Whisper.
